When you order a new or replacement number plate, you are required by law to provide current proof of identity and proof of entitlement. Before you place your order, make sure you have a copy of the following documents:

1. Proof of identity: A valid UK driving licence (full or provisional)

2. Proof of entitlement: A vehicle logbook, aka the Vehicle Registration Certificate (V5C) (please be aware that only the new red V5C certificates are accepted and not the old blue V5 certificates).

Once you have selected your number plate, you will be asked to upload a photo of each of these documents, as well as your driving license to our secure verification portal to authenticate your identity. Once your identity has been confirmed, you will be able to complete your order.

To comply with DVLA trading regulations and maintain their RNPS SID number, number plate suppliers must retain customer records for at least three years. This is necessary to verify that a specific transaction has been completed by the trader.

Unfortunately, we cannot number plates to a different address, this is something we take very seriously. We are fully aware of the issues surrounding car cloning, and only sending number plates to the cardholder's registered address is one of the more effective ways to combat it. Your number plate is uniquely yours and should not be delivered to someone else!

Misplacing or altering the spacing of digits on number plates is an offence under the Road Vehicles (Registration & Licensing) Regulations 1971. Regardless of how you enter the spacing when placing your order, we will ensure the digits are correctly spaced according to the law, and your plates will be dispatched with the legally required formatting.

The fine for having an illegal number plate can be up to £1,000
