Some practical tips...
Tyres
Keep tyres in good working condition by not leaving the bike idle for days on end, as this puts uneven stress on the part of the tyre in contact with the road or the garage concrete.
Regularly check your tyre pressure, and make sure your tyres’ tread depth is above the legal limit.
Lights
Especially important in winter with the darker winter nights and morning commutes without full daylight. Check that your motorbikes headlight, rear lights and brake lights are functioning properly. Your headlight should be powered to at least 700 lumens, but lighter illumination up to 1200 lumens would be ideal to enhance your bike’s visibility on the road, in murky weather or in darkness hours.
